It is a tradition that Scottish Whiskies are named after the region of origin. This also applies to this whisky, except that Druma Mòr does not refer to a Scottish but to a Belgian landscape.

‘Het Trommelveld’ (The Drumfield) is as you could say the back yard of The Whisky House in Affligem. It's a place where I like to walk and unwind, after dedicated searching, tasting and selecting the best whiskies in the world for the real enthusiasts.

Tasting notes
  • Colour light gold
  • Nose freshly baked bread, stewed fruits mainly pear, plum and figs. Floral influences.
  • Taste rich and full. Stewed fruits again and raisins. Honey. Some spiciness and sweetness towards the end.
  • Finish long and full with a slightly spicy and peppery ending.
